Turning the tide of American west coast surfing sounds, Surfin UK was the flip flop tapper of 1985 and reached No 2 in the ILA airplay charts. Rather ironically, the release coincided with the bands tour of the Faulkland Islands in June of that year which was their mid winter and f***** cold, to quote Rob who played the whole tour in vest and shorts! |
